The Memorials

Approximately 800,000 Belarusian Jews, 80% of the Belarusian Jewish community, were murdered by the Nazis. Most were not given funerals or gravestones and many had no relatives to mourn them.

Since 2003, this project has placed memorials at the locations of Nazi massacres of the Belarusian Jewish community. Our goal is to place a memorial at each of the approximately 500 massacre sites throughout Belarus.

This website is dedicated to these victims of Nazi atrocities. May their memory be for a blessing.
